Arts Outreach Project
Mela outreach projects are about educating, sharing and celebrating South Asian Culture. The project aims to facilitate education within the wider community about the South Asian Heritage and enable the South Asian Community to share their culture through creative workshops. The work created within these projects will be showcased and performed as part of the Liverpool International Mela.

Is a youth led project that sees young people from Liverpool develop an environmental organic outdoor theatre project/sensory garden in a local community context. The aim is to create "A safe green space that promotes the protection of the environment". This project seeks to increase the number of people in Merseyside obtaining exercise through horticulture and to improve their well being. It also seeks to widen access to similar projects and to enhance the environment by cultivation of unused land within disadvantaged urban communities.
ReincarNation
Sees young people from three youth theatres (UK, Italy and Germany) develop collaborative work with large-scale puppets, that encourages understanding of the issues facing young people who are affected by poverty and social exclusion.
