I really enjoyed performing in costume - it was well organised- with a good amount of time for people to see it. We had a great sunny spell and it was a lot of fun. People were looked after and there was a strong spirit of having worked together for several days.

During the Brouhaha festival I had an amazing experience of seeing different performances and meeting different cultures, sharing and interacting with different people with different background was the most beautiful thing I had during the festival. We shared skills and had a chance to participate in other group’s performances I also had an opportunity to take part in the amazing colourful parade. It was so encouraging to take part in the Brouhaha festival because I had chance to share the experience to my fellow Zambian youths. Thanks to the organizers of Brouhaha for the wonderful opportunity.

I appreciate that some costumes were create by recycled materials, it was a great idea! I love the colours and the big sizes.
- It was an absolutely fantastic event and our students did the Academy proud. Not only did we parade for 4 continuous hours, we also were able to keep drumming and dancing the whole way. This demonstrates just how resilient and motivated our students can be. We are already looking forward to performing in next year’s Carnival and hope that more students will get involved.~ The Academy of St Francis of Assisi

The groups were very professional and amazing with the children. They ensured that each child knew what they were doing and supported their learning very well. We would love for these groups to be able to return to our school.

It was in July were I experienced and benefited a lot in the Brouhaha festival. One of the benefit was experience, I was exposed to a lot of skills and experience from different groups and from different countries. Though I needed more interaction with the groups in order to share ideas and knowledge in different types of theatre. In short we had a great time, therefore I still learnt a lot of skills that I came to share until date am still sharing my skills from the Brouhaha festival.
